Douglas W. Shouse – Business & Marketing Strategist

Doug Shouse is an experienced business and brand marketing strategist with more than 25 years in corporate marketing and agency management. Doug has the passion for and track record in solving business problems and building national brands with creative thinking and strategic agility.

After earning his MBA at Wake Forest University, Doug spent a 20 year career in brand marketing at RJReynolds Tobacco Company, developing a deep understanding of consumer branding and marketing strategy. He led business teams on billion dollar brands and spearheaded strategic initiatives for the company. Doug was promoted to Vice President, Marketing in 1997 and awarded the RJR Chairman’s Award for strategic and creative contributions.

In 2004, became a principle in CoyneBeahmShouse, a marketing communications firm with a specialty in brand strategy development and engagement marketing. As President and CEO, Doug led CBS in growing new business with core clients Lowe’s Home Improvement and Reynolds American. The agency also gained 16 new clients including Primo Water, Mt. Olive Pickle Company, and Hershey Foods.

In 2009, Doug launched Doug Shouse Marketing LLC, a strategic brand marketing firm with the specialty Engagement Marketing. DSM has developed a proprietary tool, the
